The vicious words were the bullets waiting for the signal to tear, rip and wound the heart.

"It's just a game." The signal.

Too quick, too violent and too cruel as words are catapulted at the enemy. They say it is a war without reason.

The tear-stained glass of her phone only serves as a confronting reminder of what should not have been said.

Time to wring out the bloodied bandages and tend to the wounded.

In war there is always collateral damage. There are always two enemies who are strikingly similar in many respects. But are too stubborn too narrow-minded and too proud to admit defeat or even to admit that the war is not worth it.
